A gorgeous satin evening gown from the 1970s, so beautiful in a saffron hue from a high-end New York designer. This 1970s yellow dress has a goddess inspired style with rich gathers & a decollete neckline to the strappy shoulders that criss-cross in back. It's slinky and sexy in a runway-worthy design from Hector Torres, a young designer who worked with Halston, Calvin Klein, and others in the 1970s & 80s.
8 to 9
Bust 36, Waist 29, Hip 37; Shoulder to Waist 15, Shoulder to Hem 57.25 Inches
" BONWIT TELLER " and " HECTOR / NEW YORK " with vintage size 9/10 at back neck
Rich, vivid saffron yellow satin in a cool and luminous synthetic, probably a rayon blend
Center back invisible synthetic zipper with hook/eye at top
Barely worn at most and close to excellent condition but shows hints of its age, the bust has 4-5 tiny rubs/picks, three barely-there freckles at left torso, a hint of a threadbare mark about 1/4-inch at front torso, a few barely-there pinkish specks at front hip and several faint gray marks to lower skirt/hem, three brown specks at back bodice and a 1/4-inch vertical brown line at left hip; overall there's a lot to note, but all these issues are very mild and would be hard to notice when worn
Please note: All measurements (bust - waist - hip) are the maximum body measurements that will fit the item. These measurements already have ease subtracted and they are not actual fabric widths. To get actual fabric widths add two inches at the bust - one inch at the waist and two inches at the hip.
Size listed is a modern size. Any available vintage size is noted in the Label description. Please remember vintage sizes and modern sizes can vary a great deal.
